Constructing
the Buzzword ‘Extreme’: Alinsky Rules 11 & 13By Frank SalvatoIf you are paying attention to
the politics surrounding the midterm elections – and, for the good of the
country, you should be – then you have, no doubt, heard almost everyone from the
Left side of the aisle using the word “extreme” where the Tea Party is
concerned. To a lesser extent they use it to describe the Conservative movement
as a whole but without doubt, it is the descriptor of choice when anyone of the
Liberal or Progressive persuasion talks about the Tea Party. This tactic comes
straight from the Progressive playbook.
Will
The American Spirit Survive Obama?By Lloyd MarcusI recently caught the last 5
minutes of "Rocky", the classic movie starring Sylvester Stallone. During the
finale, Championship Boxing Exhibition, Rocky, the extreme underdog amateur, was
knocked down several times by powerful punches from the reigning champion. Upon
being knocked down yet again, Rocky's coach instructed, "Stay down!" Daily
assaults by Obama have severely beaten down the spirit of America. He proclaims
the U.S. is no longer, nor should be, the world economic leader. So how many
more Obama brutal punches can the spirit of American exceptional-ism endure?
Will it survive the Obama regime?

It's been a horrible Summer and early Fall for the
President. His approval rating is his lowest ever and the downward spiral shows
no signs of abating. Bob Woodward's new book shows ugly infighting at the White
House, between pragmatists and the left wing idealogues and nut jobs that Obama
brought to Washington. Obama's number two, Rahm Emmanuel, leader of the
pragmatists, will be gone very shortly, so that he can run for Mayor of Chicago.
This will leave a huge void in the Obama machine, because whatever moderate
influence Emmanuel has been able to exert will be gone, leaving the leftists in
complete charge, with Reid and Pelosi to run ramshackle on the field.
The
Lawyers' PartyBy Bruce
WalkerThe Democratic Party has become the Lawyer's Party .
Barack Obama is a lawyer. Michelle Obama is a lawyer. Hillary Clinton is a
lawyer. Bill Clinton is a lawyer. John Edwards is a lawyer. Elizabeth Edwards is
a lawyer. Every Democrat nominee since 1984 went to law school (although Gore
did not graduate). Every Democrat vice presidential nominee since 1976, except
for Lloyd Bentsen, went to law school. Look at leaders of the Democrat Party in
Congress: Harry Reid is a lawyer. Nancy Pelosi is a lawyer. The Republican Party
is different.
The Anti-Rally Rally
by Paul R.
HollrahOn August 28, 2010, Fox talk show host and
commentator Glen Beck held a rally on the steps of the Lincoln Memorial in
Washington, DC. The theme of the rally was “Restore Honor,” a most worthy goal…
one that modern day America needs to pursue with renewed passion. The rally was
a huge success, drawing some 500,000 to 650,000 people from every state in the
nation. They were orderly and well-behaved, and when the professional black
rabble-rouser, Rev. Al Sharpton, announced that he would hold a counter rally in
southeast Washington, just a few miles away, some feared that the two groups
might clash and that the competing rallies would devolve into 60s style
violence.
The
Issues vs. The Mainstream MediaBy
Frank Salvato
Did you know that the Tea Party-backed
Republican candidate for US Congress in Illinois’ 27th congressional district
attends a church where they worship transgender goats? Additionally, he once
allowed a parking meter to expire without surrendering himself to be fined. A
local merchant, who once saw him on vacation in Zanzibar, said she believes he
has a Barbie doll collection. There have even been reports that he once shared a
Kit-Kat bar with Charles Manson at a Grateful Dead concert.
An
Open Letter to Michael Steeleby
Paul R. HollrahDear Chairman Steele: As we approach what is
without doubt the most crucial General Election in the history of our great
country, I find myself becoming more and more what might be called an
“existential” Republican. In other words, like millions of other lifelong
Republicans, I find myself asking, “Does the Republican Party really exist and
does it have any leaders capable of leading?” The reason I ask that question is
because, day after day, month after month, we see Barack Obama and the leaders
of his party all but inviting us to respond to their actions and their plans,
but we see no viable response from the loyal opposition, either at the RNC or in
the Congress.
Signs
Of A Crumbling RegimeBy Bob
LivingstonCan you see it? The signs are everywhere, the
regime is crumbling. No, not the Barack Obama regime, though that is part of it;
maybe even the catalyst in the United States. I’m talking about the regime in
general; the system. You can see it in places like Greece. There the government
has been fighting for its economic life. Years of socialist redistribution —
theft from the producers to finance the growing State leviathan and unionized
public and private sector employees — have caught up.
Is
this my new reality?By Armand C.
HaleA friend of my just found this in an ABCNews article:
For the rest of the country, the statistics are familiar and grim. Since the
recession began, 7.3 million jobs have disappeared. Nearly 2.5 million homes
have been repossessed. Unemployment is at 9.6 percent & economists don't
expect unemployment to come down significantly anytime soon. In part, that's
because of how the unemployment rate is calculated. It's based on a survey of
households. Only out-of-work people who are looking for jobs are counted as
unemployed.
O’Donnell
Situation Smokes Out Republican FraudsBy Christopher G. AdamoWhether or not Delaware
Republican Christine O’Donnell wins her bid for the United States Senate in
November, her primary victory has already achieved more than could have been
accomplished by any dozen new GOP senators. For the first time in decades,
voters are being presented with unassailable examples of the difference between
conservatism and the treacherous reality of “business as usual” in the
Republican Party. And, given such a choice, real conservatism is unquestionably
advancing.

Reasons Why BHO Is the Greatest President Ever (If You Hate
America)
By Doug GilesY’know, if
I were a terrorist I think I’d hit America right now because I don’t think we’ve
been this vulnerable since Clinton gutted our military, worked against our
national security, and paved the way for 9/11. For the record, I am not a
terrorist, no matter what the mutant Janeane Garofalo says. How do I know I’m
not a terrorist? Well, you pretty much have to be a Muslim or a progressive to
be one, and I’m not Islamic but rather a Christian and a conservative.
The
Midterm Elections and the Communist ManifestoBy Joan SwirskyWhen it comes to celebrating
the anticipated shellacking that Democrats will take in the midterms – possibly
even capturing both the House and the Senate – I’m not as sanguine, indeed
giddy, as are the pundits, pollsters, and media gurus who clearly trust that
today’s politics are the same as they were in pre-2009, pre-totalitarian
America.
Reckoning
Honestly With “Tea Party” MomentumBy: Christopher G. AdamoGrassroots
conservatism is alive and well, as evidenced by the “upset” victory of “Tea
Party” candidate Christine O’Donnell over career politician and RINO Mike Castle
in the Delaware Republican Senate primary. The event is already being labeled an
“upset,” although at the moment it appears that only the establishment
Republicans are upset.
The
GOP: Locked, Loaded & Aiming for Its Own Foot...Again
By Frank SalvatoAnd so it begins. The
establishment Republican Party has loaded the gun and is now pointing the barrel
directly at its own foot; a situation all too familiar for those of us who, in
the past, have watched the Republican Party snatch defeat from the jaws of
victory. How they are handling the Tea Party movement – or, rather, how they are
trying to man-handle the Tea Party movement – is a perfect example.
Mr.
Obama, Meet Ms. Everywomanby Paul
R. HollrahOn Tuesday, September 14, representative
government was reaffirmed in the State of Delaware. After forty-five years
feeding at the public trough, all the while masquerading as a Republican, career
politician Mike Castle was defeated in his bid to move up another notch from the
House of Representatives to the U.S. Senate. He was defeated in the state’s
Republican primary by a relative newcomer to elective office, Christine
O’Donnell.
Integrating
the Congressional Black Caucusby
Paul R. Hollrah
In a recent letter to a group of his
conservative friends, Rev. Wayne Perryman, of Seattle, described a conversation
he had with one of his sons. His son wanted to know what he thought would happen
after Obama leaves office. As Reverend Wayne described it, he took a deep
breath, and said, “I think it will be hell for blacks in America… After Obama,
very few whites will trust blacks. Most will feel that they gave a black
man a chance and he blew it.”

"Embarrassing" to the President
By Armand C.
Hale"A career officer in the U.S. Army acting as a judge in
the prosecution of Lt. Col. Terrence Lakin ruled the military is no place for
Barack Obama's presidential eligibility to be evaluated. The acting judge ruled
in a hearing regarding the evidence to be allowed in the scheduled October
court-martial of Lakin he will be denied access to any of Obama's records as
well as any testimony from those who may have access to the records.
September
11, 2001: Nine Years OnBy Frank
SalvatoThe subject of the attacks of September 11, 2001,
seems to validate the notion that the American public has an attention span
issue. How else can we explain the “tolerance” argument being foisted upon the
citizenry by proponents of the Islamic Center and mosque slated for construction
just 500 feet from the epicenter of Ground Zero? How else can we explain the
abundance of Wahabbist literature in Saudi funded mosques all over the United
States? And how else can we explain the fact that a grotesquely overwhelming
number of violent acts are committed, daily, in the name of Islam?
A
Reasoned Perspective On The Mosque
By Christopher G. Adamo
Had the
September 11 terrorist attacks on America occurred during a saner time, the
receptiveness of this country towards any tenets of Islam would have been
seriously undercut both in the immediate aftermath of the catastrophe, and for
at least as long as those who witnessed the event were alive to recall it. Yet,
in the face of “political correctness,” rationality has largely been eradicated
from the national conversation.
Time
To Wake Up And Smell The Baklava
By Tom
GarrityEver wonder why it’s called “The Nation of Islam”?
It’s because the beliefs professed are that of a sovereign entity. That reads,
it is a country unto itself with a power structure that can direct operations of
the nation and send others to do their bidding. It is a theocracy. A religious
government. It is directed toward those that do not wish to rationally think for
themselves but rather follow the direction of their leaders.
Obama
Unplugged — and UnintelligibleBy
Jennifer Rubin
Before Obama’s presser on Friday, Michael
Gerson wandered down the memory lane, recalling the 2008 campaign, when Obama’s
“message had something to do with unity, healing and national purpose.” No more,
he explained: “Obama’s initiatives … are not only unpopular; they have made it
impossible for him to maintain the pretense of being a unifying, healing,
once-in-a-generation leader. It is the agenda that undermined the idiom.
A
Republican To-Do Listby Paul R.
HollrahWhen the new Congress is seated in January 2011,
Republican leaders will have a lot on their plates. Overall, their goal must be
to restore public confidence in the U.S. economy… not only among consumers, but
more importantly among businesses, large and small. Consumers have lost
confidence that they will be able to hang onto their jobs, so they don’t spend
their money; they stash it away for a rainy day.
By: Christopher G.

As freedom and individuality are crushed throughout the
Middle East under the weight of Sharia law, Barack Obama opts to bow and grovel
at the feet of Islamic dictators with whom he seeks to “build bridges.” Comity
with such people is paramount. In contrast, human rights abuses among the common
people of those regions are inconsequential.

A few decades ago, my great aunt, a lady whom I
admired, passed away. I was listed as a relative, though not a material
beneficiary, of her small estate. An official notice went out to all of our
living relatives announcing the date of her estate settlement, but it listed my
name as the deceased instead of her name. The report of my death was an
exaggeration. Likewise, a few decades ago, the economy was given last rites and
the Republican Party with it, and Democrats elected Jimmy Carter to solve
the nation's problems at home and abroad. However, reports of the Republican
demise were also greatly exaggerated.
