As Americans honor their fallen heroes who fought and died for freedom and liberty here and abroad, Obama tries to recover from the strongest rebuke to date. Even hardened leftist Democrats who label American soldiers “terrorists” and US war prisons “gulags,” now oppose Obama’s blind political maneuver to close Club Gitmo.

But despite an all but unanimous congressional rebuke of Obama’s plan to close Gitmo, the Dictator-in-Chief promises to ignore congress and close it anyway. In a Friday morning Today Show appearance, Defense Secretary Gates explains why. According to Gates, “the Obama administration had no choice but to order the shutdown of the prison at Guantanamo because "the name itself is a condemnation" of U.S. anti-terrorism strategy.”

Secretary Gates said that “once the decision was made to close Guantanamo, "the question is, where do you put them." He said Obama would do nothing to endanger the public and said there has never been an escape from a "super-max" prison in this country.”

Obviously, members of congress are quite aware of the fact that their constituents will hold them accountable at election time, if they allow people intent upon killing American citizens by the millions to be moved to their neighborhood, just to appease people here and abroad who don’t like anything about America anyway.

Still, the Dictator-in-Chief couldn’t care less how the American people or their elected representatives feel about the matter. Its Americas enemies that Obama seeks to appease.

Jimmy Carter’s effort to appease Islamic Terror resulted in the assault on the US Embassy in Tehran in November 1979. Carter’s continued commitment to appeasement left US hostages under the brutality of Islamic terrorists for more than 400 days, until Ronald Reagan’s inauguration, when the hostages were released before “war monger” Reagan had an opportunity to reverse Carter appeasement policies, which Reagan promised to do throughout his campaign.

Terrorists spent the 80’s attacking western civilization (aka infidels) in places like Beirut, Kuwait, Spain, Algeria, Germany, Egypt, Malta, Austria, Greece and Scotland. But they dared not strike the evil beacon of freedom on its own soil while a “war monger” was president.

It wasn’t until Bill Clinton became president that America looked once again, like a soft target.

Islamic terrorists struck the World Trade Towers for the first time in February 1993, one month after Bill Clinton became president and appeasement towards America’s enemies was once again official US policy.

In November 1995, the U.S. Military Complex in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia was bombed. Seven died and three terrorist groups: Islamic Movement for Change, the Tigers of the Gulf, and the Combatant Partisans of God claim responsibility for the bombing. Clinton had no response. Most Americans still have never heard of these Islamic terror groups today.

In June 1996, the Khobar Towers in Dhahran, Saudi Arabia were bombed. 19 American soldiers died and 500 more were injured. The Movement for Islamic Change claimed responsibility for the bombing. Still, no direct response from the Clinton administration.

In August 1998, the U.S. Embassies in Nairobi, Kenya, and Dar es Salaam, Tanzania were bombed. More than 5000 were injured, and 224 were dead. The attacks were getting more deadly and more direct, and still, there was no direct decisive response from the Clinton administration.

By October 2000, Islamic terrorists felt free to attack America without fear of reprisal from the “Great Satan.” The USS Cole was docked in Aden Yemen for refueling. A small craft pulled alongside the ship and two terrorists set off the bomb. The two terrorists were killed and so were 17 U.S. Navy seamen when the explosion blew a 20 by 40 foot hole in the side of the ship.

There was no direct response from the Clinton administration. The appeasement policies of the 90’s had left America and her allies completely vulnerable. Terrorists were convinced that America could be hit directly, without retribution or reprisal.

Eleven months later, with the Bush administration still trying to seat its cabinet after a lengthy court battle for the White House, pushing the transition well behind schedule, a plot hatched in Germany in 1996 came to full fruition on the morning of September 11, 2001, when 3000 innocent American civilians were brutally murdered in an unprecedented decapitation strike intended to take out Americas financial center, military command and control, and political leadership in DC.

Numerous attacks on US interests allowed by Clinton appeasements, resulted in September 11, 2001. Clinton tried appeasement, and more than 3000 innocent Americans died between February 1993 and September 11, 2001.

This morning, Gates said - “I think that one of the points ... was that he [Obama] had no interest whatsoever in releasing publicly detainees who might come back to harm Americans.” – “we have many terrorists in United States' prisons today,” and he decried “fear-mongering about this.”

As if completely unaware of the hard fact that US prisons are the primary recruiting grounds for Islam and Terrorism in the US, or that US courts have become a complete joke as a means of keeping American cities safe, Gates parrots Obama’s talking points about how secure our criminal justice system is...

Already the international laughing stock for his childish politicization of intelligence and military matters, Obama is fast becoming the national laughing stock of national security. But is it really all that funny? Like my mom used to say, “it’s all fun and games until someone gets hurt!”

The most hated fact among American leftists today is the fact that September 11, 2001 marks the LAST successful terror attack on US soil to date. Although the left seeks to convince Americans that Bush policies of tracking, capturing, detaining, interrogating or killing terrorists wherever we find them, has somehow made America “less safe,” the facts are clearly in Bush’s favor. Bush did indeed successfully prevented additional attacks on US soil, unlike Bill Clinton.

The facts demonstrate that Clinton appeasement policies allowed Islamic Terror to gather strength and reach until they were able to mount a massive strike on September 11^th. The facts also show that less tolerant Bush policies stopped such attacks dead in their tracks for the balance of Bush’s tenure in office.

Bush left office having kept his most important promise, to do whatever it takes to protect and defend America from further attacks... Neither Clinton nor Obama will be able to say the same.

As the new Dictator-in-Chief works around the clock to reverse all of the Bush policies responsible for that accomplishment, ignoring the advice and consent of almost every member of congress in his agenda to appease terrorists and third world dictators everywhere, the risk of renewed attacks on US soil most certainly increases.

There isn’t an honest security expert in the world who will tell you otherwise. But like the ignorant ideological misfits and naïve college kids that elected him, Obama is in so far over his head that he can’t see beyond the messiah image his handlers created from thin air and blank résumé. As a result, to hell with congress and all of the true experts on the subject... the messiah knows best!

Unfortunately, neither Obama nor his anti-American misfits will “get it” until America is hit again. Carter still doesn’t get it and neither does Secretary of State Clinton or husband Ambassador Clinton, all of whom think we can negotiate with folks who behead their enemies and strap bombs to their children’s chest, just to blow up complete strangers who have done nothing to them.

The vast majority of Islamic extremists in America today were recruited in US prison populations. So why not bring members of Club Gitmo to US prison populations in a town near you?

The American people sit quietly and watch as the Dictator-in-Chief confiscates private industry after private industry, exposing Top Secret national security information and hogtying national security agency after national security agency, while standing with Americas enemies in his promise to close Club Gitmo. Clearly, Obama thinks he’s a dictator, not a president.

And I continue to ask, what will it take for the American people to rise up and put a stop to all of the anti-American dictates from the self-ordained messiah? Whatever it is, it still hasn’t happened....

The TEA Party scheduled for July 4^th is yet another opportunity for Americans to take a stand opposed. But will another 9/11 have to happen before we do more than complain?
