The small town of Mount Vernon, Washington, is honoring Glen Beck with the keys to the city for his success. Three people protested so your media drove 140 miles to cover the protesters to again prove what a biased propaganda institution the media has become. The Founders gave the press the freedom to protect “we the people” not to enslave us with lies and distortions.
Every day Glen Beck is fighting the battle our Founders won over 233 years ago – will the individual free himself from the tyranny of the state. The American people elected Barack Obama and the Democrats to run the country last November not to run the country into the ground. Glen Beck is the Paul Revere of the 21st Century riding to alert us to the fact “the socialists are coming, the socialists are coming” and they are intent on running capitalism into the ground.
Our Founders were the greatest assembly of statesman the world has ever known. They created a country run by the people not by one man, a political philosophy or an agenda. They gave us life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness. What Barack Obama is doing is no different than the king we fought the Revolution to free ourselves from – he wants to decide who gets the benefits and use of the wealth we have created and the income we earn. He makes no bones about it - he is a socialist with totalitarian ambitions wherein he and he alone will decide what is good for America and Americans – not the people.
Barack Obama didn’t try to fool the American people he said he would redistribute income and wealth to achieve “social justice” – code for a big government run by him that decides who gets what. He uses the age-old totalitarian method of taking from the rich and productive and buying off the loyalty of the poor and less productive. He ignores growing the economy and improving the standard of living of the individual in order to build power base of the state by confiscation of wealth and income.
Glen Beck seems to be the only one in the media calling attention to the communist tactics that Barack Obama is using to take over America. Beck is not calling Obama a communist. He is relying on Obama’s own admonition –“to understand what I believe judge me by the people I surround myself with.” And with that Beck painstakingly is alerting the people to the communists, radicals and anarchists Obama has appointed to key political positions.
Beck is also calling attention to ACORN, SEIU, etc. and the coming civilian defense force - the “brown shirts” - Barack has and will be using to intimidate anyone who disagrees with him. The leftist organizations are paying for protesters to counter the Tea Parties of ordinary Americans. Obama’s controlled media is running interference.
Sean Hannity got considerable flack for beating on us about Ayers and Reverend Wright. We should have listened more carefully. So we got what we deserved - the stimulus package wasn’t written by your politicians it was written by a group headed by the old partner of anarchist William Ayers.
Barack Obama has asked us to add trillions more to the backs of the people while deluding the public into believing that the trillions we are already in debt for and the trillions he plans to add can be eliminated by green jobs and a green economy, taxing the rich and cost savings like $500 billion in reductions of Medicare benefits for our older citizens. Americans are getting wise to the impossible dream this Don Quixote is spinning – and the totalitarian almost radical communist methods he is employing. Glen Beck is making that clearer every day.
The American people are reaching a boiling point. They are not going to trade their freedom and liberty for Barack’s world of limits and obedience to the false belief that man seeks equality of outcomes rather than opportunity. The people have millions of guns to assure us that won’t happen.
The problem is the American people don’t have a political party that believes as they do. The Republicans promote the proposition that they believe in small, limited government and then go out and vote for bigger government and more spending. To compound the problem the Republicans have successfully reduced taxes on capital to fill the pockets of the very rich without paying attention to the people who are taxed, regulated and inflated into paycheck to paycheck lives.
Ordinary Americans are swimming in an ocean of frustration. They want freedom from a big government. Here is their dilemma. The Democrats are racing toward big government state socialism and Republicans are appeasing socialism while asking for lower taxes so the rich get richer and business will thrive and maybe some wealth will “trickle down.” The American people are not buying either.
So what will happen? Are we headed for an implosion or more of the same confusion? Will we still be saddled with our semi-socialist state or will the people try to face the reality that Barack Obama has only put light on the problem. Americans know that we can’t afford (1) to add trillions to the tens of trillions of promises our representatives have already saddled future generations with and (2) to pay outrageous salaries, old-age pensions and medical coverage paid at all levels of state and local government that are presently bankrupting them and the people.
Glen Beck asks the simple question of Americans how can you allow Obama to add trillions of dollars of entitlements to the tens of trillions we have already been obligated to pay? He hits the nail on the head. How can we?
I guess stopping the pain that the debt Obama plans to add to our already impossible debt load will currently divert our attention away from the endemic problem of entitlements and our inability to pay them. That diversion won’t last long.
Stopping Obama and his socialist brigade won’t do anything to free the American people from the enormous mounting debt of entitlements like Social Security, Medicare, Disability and Medicaid. They amount to anywhere from $500,000 of debt for every one of the 115 million households in America to almost $1 million or $60 trillion to $100 trillion of total unfunded and funded debt.
What is more amazing to me is there is a solution – a free market capitalist solution – a solution to this dilemma the American people face. First of all they have no idea that such a solution exists. Those few that do (1) are afraid the media will attack them, (2) see the solution as too complicated and (3) to hard to sell in an era where they their opposition is the media. academe, the arts, entertainment, indoctrinated elitists, unions, teachers, TV and an entire cadre of radicals, anarchists and communists.
What is even more amazing is the solution would neuter those opponents, cut them off at the knees, enable capitalism to eliminate endemic poverty and return the mantle of the “common good” back to the supporters of the solution. It would throw socialism into the dustbin of history once and for all.
Right now the American people are traumatized by their current battle having elected a man and his party that has no interest in delivering the American Dream of financial independence to ordinary Americans. They are just interested in the power that the people’s dependence on government gives them.
So any solution to the entitlement disaster will be put on the table while the people battle the socialists in power and their own Congress as well. What a shame. There is a solution that would extinguish the $60 to $100 trillion in Federal debt and immediately take it down below $10 trillion. The solution would also immediately eliminate the deficits and debt the cities, counties and states have incurred.
Glen Beck put it clearly to the people. How can we add more trillions to the trillions we already owe? Unfortunately he has no answers to his own question other than exposing Obama to reduce the threat of the new socialism Obama will impose. He misses the big picture – how to throw socialism under the bus not just Obama their latest pretender.
