The federally run and labor union controlled public education system has so successfully dumbed down the American population, that the average American no longer even knows the definition of the word “mandatory,” much less the words Marxism, Socialism or Communism.

Need I keep going? – “Mandatory” removes any need or opportunity for the giver’s consent. It means that these things are mandated by federal law and personal private choice is no longer a part of the equation.

Of course, mandatory volunteerism is not an individual voluntary act, is it... And charitable giving against your will, without your consent, the giver, is not really charity at all. It’s TYRANNY, stupid!

Yet many Americans, especially those below the age of about 40, who have been fully indoctrinated in entitlement mentality by the public education system since birth, and taught to see socialism and communism as “progressive” ideas, fail the simplest test of Americanism by failing to comprehend the basic difference between individual acts of charity and state mandated confiscation of privately earned assets.

As the Obama administration seizes control of private industry after private industry, using trillions in unwanted taxpayer debt to hoist itself to unlimited power, most modern Americans couldn’t care less that Obama’s so-called “stimulus” efforts are not geared towards stimulating free market recovery.

Washington DC leftists are not trying to spark a recovery of the American capitalist system, which they have been systematically dismantling for decades. They are desperately trying to drive a final nail in its coffin.

Even many Democrats are now forced to confront the reality that while both Wall Street and Main Street played a roll in our current financial crisis, the crisis itself was not caused by either. It was caused by more than seventy years of an over-reaching, over-taxing, over-regulating federal government that created and marketed what they now refer to as “toxic assets.”

The simple FREE Market solution to the problem is to reverse course immediately, removing restrictions on free market mechanisms and returning much needed financial assets to the rightful owners, the productive portion of society, so that they can and will once again, risk private capital for purpose of personal gain, sparking economic growth.

But instead, the Marxist Obama administration is accelerating the confiscation of private earned assets, removing them from the private sector and placing even more power and wealth under the control of the federal government, which has only a history of wasting the labors of the people under the false pretense of taking care of them.

The states should not be begging for federal funding. But since the federal government has confiscated control of much of the private wealth, state lawmakers meet strong local resistance to state tax increases, leaving the states faced with increasing demand for public services that can only be funded by federal taxes.

The primary problem in America is not a federal government which is too small, too under-funded, too restricted in its power. The problem is a too big, too expensive, too wasteful and too powerful federal government. So, why are the American people allowing Obama to make it even bigger and stronger at break neck speed?

America is not dying of too few federal mandates. It is being strangled to death by too many federal mandates. Freedom itself is being snuffed out!

The bad mortgages made to unqualified borrowers which fast became “toxic assets” were mandated by the federal government. Fannie and Freddie, who backed and packaged those bad loans into bad Wall Street investment opportunities, were also mandated and controlled by the federal government.

Even worse, taxpayers investments (bailouts) in what are now known to be “toxic assets,” are also being mandated by the federal government, against the will of the vast majority of Americans, and almost every American taxpayer.

The federal government has a long and distinguished history of bankrupting everything it touches. Still, the American people place their faith in the federal government to turn things around... Why? On what logical basis?

The unalienable rights endowed by our Creator, Life, Liberty, and the right to individually define and pursue Happiness, are all being systematically mandated out of existence, by a leftist federal government run amok.

The people are furious with Wall Street executives who are sometimes paid too much money for too little results. But why aren’t they equally angry with Washington DC bureaucrats who are paid even more, and have lost more American freedom and wealth than all of Wall Street combined? When will Main Street direct its anger where it really belongs? Every Washington politician is overpaid and none of them have a good track record of results...

A dumbed down populous looks at people who only want to keep what they earn, and calls them “greedy.” They look at people attempting to vote themselves access to the earnings of others, and call them “charitable.”

The average American mind has been twisted inside out, none more so than on the college campus. As a result, Americans must return to the basics to regain their footing, or they will be written into history as the generation who lost it all. When America is no longer free, no people on earth will be free.

Charity - is an act of individual kindness which requires the consent of the giver. Charity is not something that can be mandated. It can only be replaced with government tyranny, through increased taxation without proper representation under federally mandated social engineering.

Volunteerism – must be an individual voluntary act. Mandated public service is not voluntary. It is forced servitude, slavery. Where’s the FREEDOM in that notion?

Life – is an unalienable right, according to our founding documents. Without a right to life itself, there can be no individual liberty.

And unless the average American regains a knowledge and respect for the fact that our FREEDOM, all of our individual rights, are “endowed by our Creator,” not negotiated by mob rule, or meted out by corrupt career politicians, they can forget about ever being free again.

- Americans can either snap out of their media induced coma and take their nation back, or they can write themselves into history as the generation that silently accepted permanent tyranny.

I’d like to have faith in my fellow Americans to do the right thing. But based on all available evidence, I see no reason to trust this nation’s future to the average American dimwit.

Half of the nation is begging for Marxism without even knowing what Marxism is, or how that story ends. The other half is paralyzed with fear.
