Great American Journal: The Fuse Is Lit

Most of the American people are up in arms about what is going on in Washington, D.C. I have never seen such disgruntlement with one man named Obama and one Congress called the 111th! Blogs, printed on-line opinions, talk radio and who knows who else are buzzing about what this man and this congress has come out as. I never thought I would see anything like this in my life time. A powder keg is about to go off and it won’t be pretty.

With the passage of the largest Pork-a-Saurus bill ever lead by the “new” Socialist/Marxist administration, other socialist’s democrats have jumped on board and are now looking for ways to control your everyday lives. Rick Santelli of CNBC tells it like it is, speaking up on the Chicago Board of Trade’s stock floor about the wasteful, regulatory nature of the stimulus bill. We are now paying for the neighbor’s mortgage that s(he) was never entitled to legally by all the normal checks and balances of loan financing. Because of Mr. Santelli’s daring account of this pig-in-a-Polk plan, Obama has him on his radar screen. Come on Obama, buck up. Don’t take it personal. It comes with the job. Bush had a much thicker skin. But then, maybe Obama was right about himself with his all time statement; “it’s above my pay grade”.

The government’s hooks are now in capitalist industries around the country accomplished thru this bailout assistance. If some governors have the guts to say “no” to this slab of pork for their states they can count on being called racists. How do you get that from turning down money? Remember, you the taxpayer have to pay for this stuff! The socialist government has its gaze to the other necessary areas to complete its transformation; nationalizing health care, nationalizing energy, and regulation of free speech under the oxymoron of the “Fairness Doctrine” which will control all means of communication. Oh, you can still have effigies of Sarah Palin being “hung” by the neck or John McCain “burning alive” in a chimney with no problem. But don’t you dare have bumper stickers about the killing of the unborn on your car or the secret service will breathe down your neck.

These actions can only be blamed on those who allowed this to happen. The 66+ million voters that backed Obama in last November’s election. Way to go people.

Obama was morphed into a savior, a god-man, a messiah by the MSM who created him and the gullible voters who wanted to believe him. They were so fearful of their own economic futures they bought the mantra of “hope & change” hook, line & sinker. More and more people are slowly waking up after this long drunken binge. They are slowly realizing, “Ah, What have I done!

I saw a great bumper sticker that read, “God’s given us a savior; I’m looking for a PRESIDENT. What more can be said?

Regardless of how you see things, our way of life as we know it is under attack. It’s not from a foreign nation, nor from terrorists hitting us from beyond our borders. No, this attack comes from within. With every passing day, the liberal triangle of Obama, Pelosi, & Reid (sounds like a bad law firm) are moving fast to attack those areas which we hold precious since the establishment of the Republic. Under the guise of better government, our rights are being constricted like a python on a mouse, squeezing the life out of them until what we have left is nothing but an empty shell.

We will be told what to think, government will decide what type of medical care you will get; they will shortchange the average citizen by enforcing green energy at the cost of our own self reliance on oil. When the government completes this transformation, what will we really have left from our constitution that many have lived and died protecting? Nothing.

But some people are saying, “Never say die”. States upon states are passing bills invoking the 9th & 10th amendments to radically stop the growing supremacy of the emperors in Washington. Over a quarter of a million people are question Obama’s right to be president by forcing him to prove he is a natural born citizen under Article 2, Section 1, of the Constitution.

One member of the armed forces is actually challenging Obama's eligibility to be commander in chief in a court brief.

Joan Swirsky’s article quotes Stephen Pidgeon as launching an effort to empanel a National Grand Jury “to serve as ombudsmen for the citizens of our country in respect to constitutional rights and privileges and to conduct criminal investigations of members of the federal government and if the evidence is sufficient, issue criminal indictments.”

The states have become the “new” battle ground against the federal government that has gone frenzied and out of control, the likes of which most Americans have not seen in their lifetimes.
